Ms. Giglio established WAGsolutions, LLC on April 7, 2013.  WAGsolutions is a small business-consulting firm, where analysis generates real solutions for government and business challenges in an era of resource constraints.  She currently serves as the President of the Capital Chapter of the Defense Acquisition University Alumni Association and a Member of the DAUAA Board.  Previously, she served as the National Capital Region Liaison for the University of Tennessee, National Defense Business Institute.  After 30 years of government service, she retired from the Department of Defense as a member of the Senior Executive Service and as Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Strategic Plans and Initiatives, Acquisition Transformation for the office of Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L). She devised incentives to affect acquisition transformation, collected data and established a system to track ongoing initiatives.  In this capacity, she provided leadership to socialize the concepts and to generate greater consistency and transparency regarding reforms related to the workforce, organization, budget, requirements, industry and acquisition processes. She was also responsible for biannual reports to Congress regarding implementation of defense-wide acquisition reforms.

During her career, Ms. Giglio served at the White House, State Department, the Arms Control and Disarmament Agency and as a Defense Legislative Assistant to Representative Hal Daub (R-Nebraska).  She was one of the original employees at the On-Site Inspection Agency, serving as Chief of Congressional Affairs and an Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty Inspector.

Ms. Giglio is a Senior Executive Fellow of Harvard University’s JFK School of Government.  She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a major in Political Science and a minor in German.  She was born in the Bronx, N.Y. and resides is Alexandria, Virginia with her husband Michael A. Giglio (Colonel, USAF ret.).
