The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) will host its annual Acquisition Community Training Symposium on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 on its Fort Belvoir Campus.  The theme this year is: Understanding the Nuts and Bolts of Acquiring Services.  Through a series of speakers, panels and breakout and training sessions, the Symposium will provide Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Service-level, and industry perspectives and initiatives on improving tradecraft in services acquisition.  The one day training symposium will conclude with a dinner in the evening honoring the winner of the 2012 Alumni Association’s Acker Award and the induction of new DAU Hall of Fame members.
